Who needs a groomer?

Those of you who know my dad, know that he is a neat freak, in the compulsive sort of way. He's not a germaphobe, he just does not like clutter, at all. An example of my dad's problem is that almost everyday my mom will bring the mail in and set it on the counter in the kitchen. My dad will walk into the kitchen a short time later, relize there is paper on the counter where it doesn't belong, and take into the garage to the recycling bin. Then a short time after that, my mom will come in and ask my dad what he did with the mail. He then replies with "oh, that wasn't trash, it was on the counter so I thought it was trash." I'm not kidding you, they have been having this same conversation everyday for like 40 years.
This past weekend and the beginning of this week my parents were in town, and as usual I had several tasks around my house that I needed my dad's help on. One was chainsawing up all the tree limbs in my yard that I hadn't yet cleaned up from the ice storm. He spent two days cutting things up till he broke his chain saw. The other task was to lay a huge rug in my living room and move my immensly heavy coffee table onto it. Ofcourse my dad decided that in order to put down the hand woven carpet from the middle east, all the furniture in the room had to be removed, then he had to vaccumm every nook and cranny in the room. I am not complaining, I mean, it saved me from having to vaccum over spring break. I was at work while all of this was going on at my house. When I came home, my dad asked me if Brady looked clean. Well I geuss she does. Brady has been sheddy a lot lately due to the fluctuations in temperature. Apparently while my dad was vaccumming, Brady was following him around, which she does everytime my dad is here. My dad got annoyed because she was getting in the way, so he vaccummed her. I'm not talking, let me point the wand at her and scare her a little. I'm talking flipped her over and vaccummed her belly and her back and behind her ears. He said she liked it.
